About

I’m Linas, founder of Hands On Wood Ltd. With over 25 years experience in construction and woodworking, I've built my career around a passion for timber and precision craftsmanship.​ My work is guided by four values:

Efficiency – smart planning and innovative methods
Growth – continuous training and improvement​​

Since 2018, I’ve specialised in prefabricated timber frame construction, hand-picking a skilled team of carpenters who share the same commitment to quality. We’ve trained in Germany to refine our methods and deliver homes to the highest standards. ​

In 2019, Hands On Wood became the sole assembly provider for Streif UK, completing over 10,000 m² of timber frame structures. We later partnered with Baufritz, pioneers of eco-friendly homes, and in 2023 began working with Meisterstück-HAUS, a family-run company with 120 years of expertise.​​

To date, we’ve assembled more than 50 high-quality, sustainable timber frame homes across the UK. ​
